Courtesy Visit and Academic Benchmarking by Delegates from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Islam Riau

Faculty of Industrial Management (FIM) welcomed a delegation from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Islam Riau. The meeting was chaired by Ts. Dr. Syed Radzi Rahamaddulla, Deputy Dean of Academic & Student Affairs, and was attended by the Heads of Programs for Postgraduate and Undergraduate studies, the Head of Technical, the Program Coordinator, and the Chief Editor of the Journal of Governance and Integrity.

The delegation from Universitas Islam Riau was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Firdaus A. Rahman, Deputy Rector of Finance from Universitas Islam Riau, and Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Dr. Eva Sundari, along with faculty members Prof. Dr. Sri Indrastuty, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abrar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zulhelmy, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ellyan Satraningsih, Dr. Gusman Nawanir, Ms. Dina Hidayat, Mr. Abd. Razak Jer, Ms. Sinta Yulianti, Ms. Poppy Camenia Jamil, and Ms. Nina Nursida.

The delegation was given a tour of the FIM learning facilities, with a special focus on the Learning Factory. They were introduced to the factory's facilities and operations, which integrate real-world industrial practices with academic learning. The tour highlighted the advanced equipment used for both teaching and research, showcasing FIM's commitment to developing graduates who are well-prepared for the industry. The visit concluded with a mutual agreement to explore further opportunities for collaboration in areas such as research, mobility programs, and postgraduate benchmarking.
