Kuantan, 2 December 2025 — The FIM International Innovation Exhibition (FIMiEx 2025) wrapped up with remarkable excitement and vibrant energy as participants, visitors and innovation enthusiasts filled the exhibition space throughout the two-day event held from 29 to 30 November 2025 in Kuantan, Pahang. Organised by the Faculty of Industrial Management (FIM), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), this year’s edition proved to be one of the most dynamic and inspiring showcases of creativity, technology and youth-driven innovation.
Across the event, participants demonstrated exceptional ingenuity through their projects, research ideas and prototypes. The FINO @ FIMiEx competition became a highlight as young innovators presented impressive solutions addressing real-world challenges. From sustainability-driven concepts to digital transformation initiatives, the exhibition reflected UMPSA’s commitment to championing innovation with meaningful societal impact.
Adding even more excitement to the atmosphere, the SUMO @ FIMiEx robot battles drew enthusiastic crowds as teams competed with autonomous robots in high-adrenaline sumo matches. The precision, creativity and technical mastery displayed by the participants made this segment one of the most memorable, showcasing the strong robotics talent emerging from various institutions.
Meanwhile, the energy at the Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge (YEC @ FIMiEx) brought another layer of inspiration as young entrepreneurs confidently pitched bold business ideas to the panel of judges. Their presentations demonstrated not only creativity and market awareness, but also the entrepreneurial spirit that UMPSA aims to cultivate among the younger generation. Many of the ideas presented showed strong potential for real commercial development, proving that innovation and business thinking go hand in hand.
