Faculty of Industrial Management (FIM) UMPSA Hosts Case Studies & Publishing Workshop, Honoring Top Researchers with Emerald Publishing Awards GAMBANG, 13 AUGUST 2026 – The Faculty of Industrial Management (FIM) at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), through the Graduate Engineering & Technological Business School (GET-BS) and in collaboration with Emerald Publishing, successfully organized the Case Studies & Publishing Workshop today at the Bilik AV, UMPSA Library, Gambang Campus. The workshop gathered academic staff and researchers to deepen their knowledge of case study writing, publication ethics, AI policies, and manuscript reviewing. Featured industry experts from Emerald Publishing included Rozita Nordin (Regional Marketing Manager), Bernice Wong (Business Manager), and William Loh (Customer Success Partner). Recognition of Excellence: Malaysia Top Downloaded Researchers 2026 A main highlight during the opening ceremony was the presentation of the Emerald Excellence Certificates for the Malaysia Top Downloaded Researcher 2026 (UMPSA, 2021–2025) awards, presented by Wan Yat Seng, Regional Director (East Asia Region) of Emerald Publishing. Two distinguished scholars from the Faculty of Industrial Management received top honours: Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Bin Fauri @ Fauzi – Awarded Ranked 1 as Malaysia Top Downloaded Researcher 2026 (UMPSA, 2021–2025). Profesor Dr. Yudi Fernando – Awarded Ranked 2 as Malaysia Top Downloaded Researcher 2026 (UMPSA, 2021–2025) and 3rd Rank as Malaysia Top Cited Researcher 2026 (2021-2025, Scopus Citation) This outstanding recognition underscores the high global readership, visibility, and real-world impact of research produced by FIM UMPSA academics, reaffirming the faculty's role as a leading research hub in Malaysia.
